Zoho Creator is a low-code platform for building custom business apps — inventory trackers, field-service apps, approval workflows, customer portals. Drag forms, define database tables, write Deluge (Zoho's scripting language), and publish web and mobile apps in one go.
It shines for businesses already using Zoho CRM, Books, or Desk — Creator apps share data and authentication natively. As a standalone low-code tool, it is competitive but not the leader.
How it actually works
Define forms (which auto-create database tables), build pages with reports and dashboards, and write workflows in Deluge for business logic — calculations, conditional notifications, third-party API calls. Publish to the web, iOS, and Android simultaneously, with role-based access control gating who sees what.
Connections to Zoho CRM, Books, Inventory, and Desk are first-class. Outside the Zoho ecosystem, you get REST APIs, webhooks, and a few hundred Zapier-style integrations through Zoho Flow.
Pricing reality
UK pricing as of 2026: Standard at £8/user/month (annual) for basic apps; Professional at £18/user/month adds AI builder, analytics, and BI; Enterprise at £21/user/month and Bundle (whole Zoho One suite) at around £30/user/month.
Per-user pricing across many users gets expensive. A 50-person firm on Professional is £10,800/year just for Creator. Compare to a Zoho One bundle (entire Zoho suite for £30/user/month) before paying Creator standalone.
