NeverBounce is one of the longest-running email verification services, founded in 2014 and acquired by ZoomInfo in 2020. The product runs the same fundamental check as Emailable, ZeroBounce and Kickbox: per-address SMTP verification with catch-all detection, role-account flagging, disposable-domain detection and free-mail tagging. The differentiator is breadth of ESP integrations — NeverBounce is often the default verifier already plumbed into Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo and dozens of others — and a generous 1,000-credit free tier that beats most rivals.
How it works
Upload a CSV, post addresses to the API, or trigger verification from inside an integrated ESP. NeverBounce runs syntax validation, MX lookup, SMTP handshake, catch-all detection and disposable-domain matching, returning a verdict (valid, invalid, accept-all, disposable, unknown) plus sub-flags. Real-time API verification returns in under a second; bulk runs at roughly 250,000 addresses per hour. Native integrations cover Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, Pardot, Marketo and Eloqua, with Zapier and webhooks for the rest.
Pricing reality
The free tier is 1,000 verifications, generous versus Emailable's 250 and Kickbox's 100. Pay-as-you-go starts at $10 for 1,000 credits and slides to roughly $0.003 per credit at million-plus volumes. Monthly subscriptions start at $50/month. Enterprise plans add SSO, dedicated support and volume commits. NeverBounce sits roughly in line with ZeroBounce on price and slightly above Emailable for SMB-volume buyers. Where NeverBounce wins on cost is bundled into existing ZoomInfo contracts, where it is usually included rather than billed separately.

Who should buy, who should skip
Buy if: your team is already on ZoomInfo, where NeverBounce verification is usually bundled or steeply discounted; you use Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce or Marketo and want the verifier with the deepest native integration; you need to clean a list once before a big send and 1,000 free credits is enough.
Skip if: you prefer a more modern dashboard and slightly cheaper SMB pricing — Emailable or Kickbox are stronger choices; you are an enterprise buyer who has already negotiated ZeroBounce or Briteverify into a stack-wide contract; your verification is purely API-driven and the ESP integration breadth is irrelevant.

Is NeverBounce the same as the old NeverBounce.com?
Yes — same product, same domain. NeverBounce was acquired by ZoomInfo in 2020 but continues to operate as a standalone product with its own dashboard and API. The brand and the verification engine did not change.
How does NeverBounce compare with ZeroBounce?
Both are mature verifiers with similar accuracy in independent tests. ZeroBounce includes additional signals (activity score, AI scoring) on its premium tiers, while NeverBounce wins on free tier size (1,000 vs 100 credits) and ESP integration depth. Pricing is comparable.
Will NeverBounce work with Mailchimp or HubSpot?
Yes. NeverBounce ships native one-click integrations with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Pardot, Marketo, Constant Contact, Eloqua and others — the broadest ESP coverage in the category.
What does 'accept-all' mean in NeverBounce results?
Accept-all (or catch-all) means the receiving domain accepts mail to every address regardless of whether the mailbox exists. The SMTP handshake cannot confirm deliverability, so the verifier flags it for caution rather than guessing. Risk-tolerant senders mail accept-all addresses; conservative senders skip them.
Is NeverBounce GDPR-compliant?
Yes. NeverBounce signs a Data Processing Agreement with all paid customers, processes data under standard contractual clauses, and offers EU data residency on request. Verification metadata is retained briefly for audit; email content is never stored.
Do unused credits expire?
Pay-as-you-go credits remain valid for 12 months from purchase. Monthly subscription credits do not roll over to the next month — use them or lose them. Annual plans roll over within the contract year.
