About Blinq

Blinq, in 30 seconds

Blinq replaces paper business cards with a tappable digital profile: a NFC card, an Apple Wallet/Google Wallet pass or a QR code that opens your contact details, social links and a "save to phone" button. We picked it because, unlike most digital-card apps, Blinq treats the card as the front-end of a B2B lead-capture system: the receiver does not need to install anything, and the contact who scanned you can be pushed straight into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive with UTM-style source tracking. For an outbound or events-heavy team, that closes a real attribution gap.

How it works

An admin sets up the workspace, imports staff with a CSV or SCIM, and applies a brand template (logo, colours, locked fields like job title and email signature). Each person gets a profile they can share four ways: Apple/Google Wallet pass, QR code (in email signature, slide deck or Zoom background), shareable link, or a physical NFC card you order from Blinq for around $6 to $10 each. When someone taps or scans, they see your profile and a one-tap "exchange contact" button — when they fill it in, that lead lands in your CRM with attribution to the card owner.

Other useful bits: dynamic email signatures that update centrally, a virtual-background generator for video calls, and analytics on card views, clicks and contact saves at the user and team level. You can also issue cards to contractors and revoke them when they leave, which is a small but real reason finance teams approve it.

Pricing reality

Free Personal plan covers one card and basic customisation, fine for individuals. Pro at $4.99/user/month adds custom branding, video and unlimited social links, plus a Lead Capture form and CRM export to CSV. Business at $7.99/user/month is the realistic team tier: adds direct HubSpot/Salesforce/Pipedrive sync, SSO, role-based admin, locked brand templates and analytics dashboards. Enterprise is by quote and adds SCIM, audit logs, custom data residency and procurement-ready DPAs. Physical NFC cards are sold separately at roughly $6-10 per card with bulk discounts. Annual billing is the default; monthly is about 20 per cent more expensive.

Decision matrix

  • Buy if: you run an outbound or events-heavy team of 10+ and you currently lose leads between conferences and the CRM, or you want central brand control over what staff put under their email signature.
  • Wait if: you are a one-person shop — the Free plan is genuinely enough until you need CRM sync.
  • Skip if: your team rarely meets people offline or you have already standardised on Popl or HiHello hardware (switching costs are real because of the printed cards).

Try Blinq

The Free Personal plan does not require a card, so you can ship one and test the receive-flow today. Business tier is where teams should start.

Frequently asked

Do recipients need to install Blinq?
No. They scan the QR code or tap the NFC card and the profile opens in any browser. Only you need an account.
How does CRM sync work?
On the Business plan, when someone fills in the Exchange Contact form, the lead is pushed to HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive with the card owner as the lead source. CSV export is available on lower tiers.
Are the physical cards reusable?
Yes. The NFC card stores a URL that you control, so you can update the profile without reprinting.
What happens if a staff member leaves?
An admin revokes their card centrally, the URL stops resolving and any printed card becomes inactive. The lead history stays in the workspace.
Does Blinq work offline?
The card itself is contactless and works without internet on the sender side. The receiver needs internet to load the profile.
Can I add my own domain?
Yes, on the Business and Enterprise tiers you can map a custom domain like cards.yourcompany.com.
