What you will do
Build and maintain the vendor pipeline. Target 25 outbound conversations per week and 8 closed partnerships per month.
Negotiate commission rates above market: most SaaS programs default to 20-30%, the role's mandate is to push for 40-50% on every priority partnership.
Negotiate exclusive coupon codes, extended trials, and SaaSTweaks-only bundles. Document each in the partnership CRM.
Manage the relationship layer for the top 50 partners: quarterly business reviews, joint go-to-market launches, dispute resolution on attribution gaps.
Hand off signed partnerships to editorial with a clean brief. The editorial team relies on the partnerships brief to write factually accurate reviews and comparisons.
Track pipeline metrics weekly. The role owns conversion-to-signed-partnership rate and average commission rate negotiated.
What we need from you
4+ years of B2B partnerships, business development, or affiliate-program management, with a track record of closing high-margin deals.
Confidence negotiating with VPs of Marketing and Heads of Partnerships at SaaS companies between $5M and $200M ARR.
Comfort working from a personal pipeline target. The role is measured monthly against signed partnerships and average commission.
Strong written communication. Most of the outbound is async via email and LinkedIn; in-person meetings happen only after a partnership is in serious diligence.
Existing rolodex in the SaaS ecosystem is a major asset.
