VEED is a video editor that lives entirely in the browser — no install, no render farm, just a link. Pricing in 2026 — the new credit system

Verified from the official pricing page: the Free plan lets you edit fully but watermarks every export and caps quality at 720p. Creator is $25/user/month, or $12 billed annually — no watermark, unlimited auto subtitles, 1080p export and 500 AI credits a month (roughly 100 AI videos; annual plans pool 6,000/year). Pro is $45, or $22 annually, with 2,500 credits/month, translation into 50+ languages, brand kits and 4K export. Studio at $79/$39 raises credits to 15,000/month with custom templates and the biggest AI-voice allowance. Enterprise is custom.

Every paid plan is per user, and AI features are metered in credits — an AI video costs about 5 credits, and failed generations don't consume any.

The promo-code reality

We checked every official page: no code, no discount banner. The 51% annual saving on the pricing toggle is the entire game, and it's genuinely large — a Creator seat runs $144/year annually versus $300 paid monthly. One quirk worth knowing: annual plans also carry 12x-pooled credit allowances, so monthly billing quietly buys a much smaller AI budget than the advertised annual totals.

Where it shines

Subtitles and translation are the killer features — upload, auto-caption, translate, export, in minutes, in a browser. The credit system is transparent once you know it exists, watermark removal starts at the cheapest paid tier, and the toolset breadth (recorder, avatars, TTS, text-to-video) means one subscription covers what would otherwise be three or four point tools.

Where it falls short

The free plan is a demo, not a tier: watermark on everything and 720p exports. Creator still caps at 1080p — 4K needs Pro or Studio. Per-user billing multiplies fast for teams, and even Studio has hard AI ceilings (12 hours/year of translation, 960 hours of AI voice). Heavy AI users should size their real usage against the credit pools before picking monthly billing.

Who should buy

Solo creators and marketers doing subtitled social video should take Creator annual at $12/month — it's the value point of the lineup. Teams producing multilingual or 4K content need Pro annual at $22. If you mostly need occasional trims with no branding stakes, the free plan works, watermark and all — but for anything client-facing, budget for Creator minimum.
