E2B for Startups
AI Platform Credits
Up to $20,000 in sandbox credits + Pro tier
Code-execution sandboxes for AI agents — $20K in credits plus the Pro tier (100 concurrent sandboxes, 24h sessions) for early-stage teams.
Who qualifies
Every condition below is taken from the vendor’s own published criteria. Read them before you spend an afternoon on the application.
Under 3 years old
The company must be less than 3 years old, measured from incorporation rather than launch. Predecessor entities and reincorporations are usually counted from the original date.
New customers only
Existing or previously paying accounts are excluded. If you are already on a paid plan, ask before you migrate — some vendors make an exception, most do not.
Startups
The programme is aimed at startups. Vendors read this loosely, but expect to describe the company and what you are building on the application.
About E2B for Startups
Quick answer
Code-execution sandboxes for AI agents — $20K in credits plus the Pro tier (100 concurrent sandboxes, 24h sessions) for early-stage teams.
If you're building AI agents that need to run untrusted code, E2B's sandboxes are the de-facto infrastructure layer — and this is one of the richest agent-infra grants going right now: $20,000 in one-time credits plus the Pro tier (100 concurrent sandboxes, 24-hour sessions).
What you get
- $20,000 in one-time E2B credits
- Pro tier features: 100 concurrent sandboxes, 24h session length
- Academic teams are also eligible under the same program
How to apply
4 steps. The last one is the part most people skip.
- 1
Open E2B for Startups through the link on this page
It carries our referral tag. The terms you get are identical either way, and it never changes what this page says about the programme.
- 2
Have the eligibility evidence ready
Applications are checked against 3 conditions — under 3 years old, new customers only, startups. Incorporation date, cap table and a one-line description of what you are building cover most of it.
- 3
Ask for the expiry window in writing
E2B for Startups does not publish how long the credit runs, and unused balance is almost always forfeited. Get the activation and expiry dates confirmed before you plan around the grant.
- 4
Know the rate you land on when it runs out
The point of a credit is a runway extension, not a permanent discount. Check standard list pricing for the usage you will have by then, so the first real invoice is a decision rather than a surprise.
