Geo-Targeting (Proxy)

Geo-targeting in the proxy context means selecting IP addresses from a specific country, state/region, or city. Many web targets serve different content by geography — local prices, language versions, search results, streaming library availability, or ad creatives.

Precise geo-targeting is critical for localized price monitoring, local SERP scraping, and ad verification. Country-level targeting is standard across all major providers; city-level targeting is available on premium plans and costs more due to smaller IP pools in specific locations. Some providers also offer ASN-level targeting to match traffic from specific ISPs.
