Proxy-Cheap is a budget-tier proxy provider selling four product lines: rotating residential proxies (sold pay-as-you-go per GB), static residential/ISP proxies, datacenter proxies (IPv4 and IPv6), and 4G/5G mobile proxies. It positions itself directly against Bright Data, Oxylabs, Smartproxy and IPRoyal — and publishes comparison pages targeting all of them.

The pool: 80M+ residential IPs across 180+ locations and 5M+ mobile IPs across 42+ countries, with coverage claimed in almost 200 countries and territories. All lines support HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with both rotating and sticky sessions on residential, country- and city-level targeting, and ISP-level targeting on static residential (they run dedicated landing pages per US carrier). Authentication works by username:password or IP whitelist, and IP-based products come with unlimited threads and bandwidth. Around 45,000 clients are claimed, with a G2 rating of 4.5/5 displayed on their own site.

Pricing in 2026 — genuinely cheap, with caveats

Verified from the official product pages. Headline rates assume the current sitewide promotion:

• Rotating residential — from $0.78/GB (list $2.60). Tiers run 3 GB at $1.50/GB up to 51 GB at $0.78/GB. Minimum top-up 1 GB; self-serve caps at 50 GB/month.
• Static residential (ISP) IPv4 — from $2.12/proxy/month; IPv6 from $0.52.
• Datacenter IPv4 — from $1.49/proxy/month; IPv6 from $0.15, the cheapest thing in the catalogue.
• Static mobile — from $26.01/proxy/month on a 12-month term ($39.51 monthly). Note their homepage advertises "from $11.61/proxy", which doesn't match any term on the actual product page — trust the product page.
• Rotating mobile — listed as a product but no price is published. Contact sales.

Payments are unusually broad: cards, PayPal, Alipay, WeChat, KakaoPay, NaverPay, plus Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana and Tether.

Where it shines

Price, straightforwardly. At $0.78/GB for rotating residential proxies it's among the cheapest headline rates from a mainstream provider, and $0.15 for a datacenter IPv6 is close to free at volume. The feature set doesn't feel budget either — sticky sessions with long session IDs, city and ISP targeting, a public API, browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox, and documented integrations with anti-detect browsers like AdsPower and MoreLogin. For small-to-mid scraping, sneaker/retail tasks, ad verification or account management, it does the job at a fraction of enterprise cost.

Where it falls short

Three honest limits. The pool is an order of magnitude smaller than Bright Data or Oxylabs (80M vs 150M+), so on hard targets or wide-geo, high-concurrency jobs you'll see more IP reuse and more blocks. The refund policy is strict: time-limited proxies are refundable only within 3 days, auto-renewals within 24 hours, and bandwidth only if under 20% is used on a single purchase — and it explicitly states that "lack of technical knowledge or configuration skills is not a valid reason for a refund." And there's no free trial — the "trials" are paid ($1.99/week for ISP, $16.11/week for static mobile), so you can't validate pool quality against your own targets for free.

Who should buy

Proxy-Cheap suits solo operators, affiliates and small teams who need working proxies without an enterprise contract — especially anyone whose targets aren't heavily defended.
