How IPRoyal's Royal Residential network works

IPRoyal sources residential IPs through the Pawns SDK (a sister company that pays users to share their unused bandwidth). The opt-in flow is documented and consent is recorded per-device, but the network is materially smaller and noisier than the tier-one providers. Pool freshness lags Decodo and SOAX — older blog reports note that on niche country-carrier combinations, the same IPs cycle back faster than they should.

Sticky sessions hold for up to 10 minutes by default, with a configurable maximum of 30 minutes on certain account types. That is the shortest sticky window in the category — enough for most ad-hoc scraping but not long enough for account-bound flows that need a stable IP across an extended login session. Country, state and city targeting are all available; ASN-level targeting is supported on the larger ranges but inconsistent on smaller ones.
